Week 1: TRANSLATOR

 TASK 1: TPACK & ACAD

Miriam García, translator in task 1, which is about TPACK and ACAD.

TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge): is an educational tool that has the interest to implement technology in the learning process to make things that are more difficult to understand understandable.

ACAD (Activity-Centered Analysis and Design): is a framework whose objective is to have more understanding about a problematic learning situation and improve it, by doing an analysis and redesign if it is necessary.

SPEED-LEARNING: is a collection of methods that attempt to arrive to a better learning without unacceptable reduction of comprehension or retention.

FRAMEWORK: a supporting structure to follow which has some strategies to use as a guide.

DIAGRAM: a visual way of representing information that allows people to understand and remember the relation between different elements.

TPACK and ACAD are two frameworks that provide you a lot of possibilities to work with, but they have some difficulties; these are that you need to have some specific characteristics to develop them, such as space and resources, especially technological ones.

The methodologies used in this presentation are speed-learning and diagram representation. These two are good ones because they improve learning and make the contents more understandable.
