KEY CONCEPTS Competence: it is the capacity or ability a person has to be able to perform well in a task or situation. The competences for primary education included in this task are communication in mother tongue, communication in foreign languages, mathematical competence and basic competences in science and technology, digital competence, learning to learn, social and civic competences, sense of initiative and entrepreneurship, and cultural awareness and expression.
